NEW STONE & MASONRY CENTER IN HILLSDALE , NY – GRAND
OPENING CELEBRATION SCHEDULED FOR JUNE 3 & 4 HHillsdale, NY, Monday May 23, 2005 – Ed
Herrington, owner of Herrington’s lumber, millwork,
and building supply stores in the tri-state area, announced the
June 3rd opening of Herrington’s Stone & Masonry
Center on Route 23 in Hillsdale, New York, across from the Herrington’s lumberyard A grand opening celebration is planned for Friday, June 3 rd
from 7 am to 5 pm and on Saturday, June 4 th from 7am to 4 pm.
There will be demonstrations of the latest masonry tools, samples
of the newest stones available, a meet-and-greet with the Herrington’s masonry
experts, a tour of the new yard and building, prizes, and refreshments. “We’re very excited about the Stone & Masonry
Center,” said Ed Herrington, “We began offering two
types of stone to our customers in 1995 and the demand grew quickly
for a more diversified selection of stone and brick, and for the
tools and innumerable specialty items needed to complete any masonry
or landscape project. We listened to our customers and designed
a center to offer more selection and convenience.” Contractors and Do-It-Yourselfers will find the new stone and
masonry center a one-stop shopping experience that offers an extensive
selection of tools and stone at competitive prices. Herrington’s expanded
their line of Hilti and Marshall Town tools;
added new products for sale such as commercial grade mixers, compactors,
and wet saws; and are offering many new lines of stone in numerous
shapes, colors, textures, and sizes -- including the exquisite
deep-vein, high-grade bluestone by Devonian Stone of New York. Herrington’s has added stone and masonry specialists
Patrick Thilmany, Masonry Business Development Manager, and Michael
Mortenson, Masonry Division Manager to the Herrington’s team.
Thilmany and Mortenson will help with the selection of stone and
tools; be available for on-site consultations to offer troubleshooting
and design advice; coordinate orders, special orders, and deliveries;
and continue to offer the good old-fashioned service that Herrington’s prides
itself on. At Herrington’s partnerships are fostered with
individuals, architects, general contractors, mason contractors,
and landscapers to provide the best product and service -- on-time,
on budget, and delivered directly to the job site (free of charge
to customers in the Tri-State region). Herrington’s Stone & Masonry Center will be
open weekdays from 7 am to 5 pm and Saturdays from 7 am to 4 pm.
